"Um, Mom?"

Tehya and I decided to treat ourselves a little bit Thursday night after her dance class and indulged in some take-out Chinese. Dan was still out west so it was the perfect time to bring the yummy goodness home!
Tehya has had this particular restaurants chicken lomein several times, but this time there was something that caught her eye:

Tehya: "Um, Mom?"
Mom: "Yes Tehya?"
Tehya: "What's this green thing in my noodles?"
Mom: "It's a pea pod Tehya"
Tehya: "What do I do with it?"
Mom: "You eat it"
Tehya: (with confused look) "Should I stab it?"
Mom: "You can, or for fun you could pick it up like a french fry - they are crunchy!"
Tehya: (takes a bite out of the pea pod and exclaims excitedly) "MOM!"
Mom: "Yes Tehya?"
Tehya: "It has peas in it!"
Mom: "It's a pea pod Tehya"
Tehya: "That's cool mom"
